This year, the Warnowtunnel celebrates its 20th anniversary. To mark the occasion, a birthday party will be held on the Warnowtunnel site on Saturday, 16.09.2023 between 11 am and 5 pm. We kindly invite our customers and all interested parties to our event. Entry is free of charge. Our tunnel griffin is already shining in new splendour – it has been given a new, colourful “suit”.
Participation activities from various Rostock organisations and sports clubs await you. The Rostock Zoo, Rostock Seawolves, Rostock Piranhas, Rostock Griffins and many more will be there. The day will be musically accompanied by the trio “Freshband” and Emilia Sismey, known from KiKA television and named “Songwriter of the Year 2022” with the hit “Outside And Inside”.
Driving safety is an enormously important topic and so visitors can experience in driving simulators how, for example, the consumption of alcohol affects driving ability.
Many great prizes in a draw are waiting for their winners. It will also be possible for visitors to take a look behind the scenes of the Warnowtunnel’s operations during guided tours.
There is something for the whole family to discover. Of course, the little ones have also been thought of. A children’s birthday party with traditional children’s games will ensure enthusiasm and merriment. The association Balu und Du e.V. will offer face painting for children, and as a special guest, body painting world champion Claudia Kraemer will transform some visitors into colourful works of art.
We recommend arriving by public transport as there is only a very limited number of parking spaces available.
